Love laid bare (website only)

Love laid bare in a manger;
God is there, not a stranger.
This miracle child,
so peaceful and mild,
born to bring God’s love to all the world.

Angels sing: Alleluia!
Telling of God’s new ruler:
How one little birth
gave hope to the earth;
Born to bring God’s love to all the world.

Refrain

In the future he’ll return in glory,
Jesus Christ will come again one day –
Bring the perfect ending to the story,
But until then let’s follow in his way.

Wise men came: celebrations!
Now they come from all nations,
To kneel and adore
At his stable door –
Born to bring God’s love to all the world.

Trumpets blast, are you hearing?
Night is past; day is nearing:
Forgiveness and love;
The Light from above,
born to bring God’s love to all the world.

Refrain

In the future he’ll return in glory,
Jesus Christ will come again one day –
Bring the perfect ending to the story,
But until then let’s follow in his way.

Love laid bare in a manger;
God is there, not a stranger.
This miracle child,
so peaceful and mild,
born to bring God’s love to all the world…

    Sorry to be boring but are these three hymns CCLI copyright, exclusive copyright, or some other situation please, this includes the music on the first one

      Hi Bob – thanks for checking. Andrew’s words are available for use simply with note of permission and name of author, as are other hymns on this site not otherwise covered by CCLI. (We will try to be clearer about this in future.) The music for Andrew’s hymn should be covered by PRS conditions.
